I didn't mind the format change either. I'd rather hear a show 'off the cuff' occasionally as opposed to not hearing from you because there are not enough hours in the day. The few podcasts I've done were a true eye-opener on just how much time & effort goes into every show. Keep up the good work!

I liked the behind the scenes look at the process, maybe not for every time, but might be fun now and again. Interesting that you came across Elliott Smith...I forgot how good he was...and sad. As you were looking thru artists, I did wonder if that was actually happening or if you had some ideas about who might be interesting. Might be hard to always turn up good tunes that way. As it was this time, it made for an interesting mix.

I love the experimentation here.

Ever since I heard Lance, Dan and Cush discussing this topic, my views have changed. I'm not saying we should swap out our formats often, but keeping the format fresh keeps us interested and our audience interested. Cush's quote, as I remember it, was, "Our listeners tell us not to change because they want to hear -our- format, and then they leave when they get bored because we never change."
