Hey, I've enjoyed both of your podcasts for months now, and I'm really sorry to be leaving a negative comment as my first ever feedback to you. You've GOT TO do something about the ads on this podcast. The first one, asking for new podcast hosts, didn't bother me so much because I figured it would be a one-shot announcement. But then when the ad for the computer graphics podcast came on, my neck immediately stiffened and my fists clenched (both involuntary responses). That ad, in particular, sounded like it was for some kind of monster truck rally or some dinosaur 80's heavy metal concert! It completely destroys everything you are trying to accomplish with the podcast. It ruined the rest of the program for me. I imagine this is something you have to do in exchange for being hosted by TPN, and to some extent I am willing to deal with ads. But they have to exercise some editorial discretion to make sure the ads do not completely ruin the podcast. I archive many of your podcasts to listen again---that is how much I enjoy them. But obviously MMS#4 won't go into my archive, and if your podcast is consistently ruined this way, there won't be any point in subscribing. Good luck dealling with the suits...

There weren't ads as such, i.e. what you're refering to were a promo and an audio comment from Cameron Reilly who owns the network.

I can see that they may have jarred with the rest of the podcast, but due warning; in time I hope to have real ads in the Mellow Monday Show to help pay me some money for what I do.

Point taken on the promo. I have full creative control over the MMS and it was my choice to include both audio clips, but I'll consider them more carefully in future.
